Your Bizmate

Terms of Service

Last updated 10 August 2026

These terms apply when you use Your Bizmate, operated by [Your registered business/company name], ABN [your ABN](“we”, “us”). By creating an account or publishing a website with us, you agree to them.

1. What Your Bizmate is

Your Bizmate lets you build, host, and publish a website for your business, and collect enquiries from visitors. You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information you publish and for responding to enquiries you receive.

2. Your account

You need to provide accurate information when setting up your account and business. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. One business per account is supported at this time.

3. Plans, billing, and free trials

We currently offer three plans:

  • Starter — $19/month (AUD). A professional website, hosted and secured.
  • Business — $39/month (AUD). Everything you need to turn visitors into customers.
  • Pro — $69/month (AUD). Let AI answer enquiries for you, day or night.

New accounts can start a 14-day free trial with no card required. Your site won't be publicly published until you have an active, paid subscription — publishing requires payment. Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the then-current price for your plan until cancelled. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Dashboard → Billing → Cancel subscription. If you've paid for the current billing period, your site stays live and your plan's features keep working until that period ends — we don't charge you again after that. We don't provide refunds for the unused portion of a billing period you've already paid for. A free trial with no card on file simply ends immediately when cancelled, since nothing was charged.

5. Changing plans, and failed payments

You can switch plans at any time from your billing page. If a payment fails, we'll email you and give you a chance to update your payment method — your site may be taken offline if payment isn't resolved, and will come back automatically as soon as it is.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Your Bizmate to publish or transmit content that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, or misrepresents your business or its services;
  • Infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • Is defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory;
  • Contains malware or attempts to compromise the platform or other users; or
  • Is unrelated to operating a genuine business (e.g. spam, adult content, or unrelated resale of the platform itself).

We can suspend or remove content, or suspend an account, that breaches this section.

7. Your content, our platform

You own the business information, images, and content you upload. You give us a licence to host, display, and transmit it as needed to run your website and deliver enquiries to you. The Your Bizmate platform itself — including the templates, design system, and underlying software — remains our intellectual property.

8. AI-generated content

Some features use AI (for example, drafting website copy, or an optional AI chat widget for visitors) to save you time. AI output can be inaccurate or generic — you're responsible for reviewing and editing anything AI-drafted before it goes live, and the chat feature is scoped to only answer from information you've provided about your business, but we can't guarantee it will never make a mistake.

9. Enquiries and leads

We forward enquiries submitted through your site to you by email and show them in your dashboard. We're not a party to, and take no responsibility for, the dealings between you and the people who contact you through your site.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep Your Bizmate available and reliable, but as with any online service we don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, and we may need to take the service down temporarily for maintenance or updates. Nothing here excludes any guarantee that can't lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, doesn't pay for its subscription, or poses a security risk to the platform or other users. You can close your own account at any time — see Dashboard → Account → Delete account, which permanently deletes your business, website, and data.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to Your Bizmate is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business opportunities.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the “last updated” date above, and make a reasonable effort to notify account holders of material changes.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
